MCS Promotes John Maxwell to Chief Operating OfficerThirty-year industry veteran to pioneer company’s strategic growth inititatives
TAMPA, Fla., Oct 25, 2010 - Mortgage Contracting Services LLC (MCS), a nationwide provider of property preservation, inspections and REO property maintenance to the financial services industry, today announced the promotion of John Maxwell to chief operating officer (COO). In his new position, he is responsible for the management of strategic and organizational operations to ensure consistent company growth, as well as for building and maintaining relationships with financial institution leaders.
Maxwell has spent more than 30 years in the industry, his experience ranging from management roles in loan servicing and servicing acquisitions to default management and more. He initially joined the company in August 2007 as vice president of asset management, where he oversaw the company's Dallas operations for approximately two years. In 2009, Maxwell was named executive vice president of operations to assume supervision of the direction and performance of MCS' operations in both the Dallas and Tampa, Fla., offices, including vendor management.
Prior to MCS, Maxwell was regional vice president at First American National Default Outsourcing. Maxwell also spent time at Wendover Financial Corp as vice president and director of default administration.
