Robert Colbeck Named Senior Vice President Information Technology

Seasoned IT professional pioneers company innovation, service enhancement for clients and vendors

TAMPA, Fla., Aug 24, 2010 - Mortgage Contracting Services (MCS), a nationwide provider of property preservation, inspections and REO property maintenance to the financial services industry, has named Robert Colbeck senior vice president of information technology. His responsibilities range from the oversight of data backups and retention, contributing to vendor and customer support, to pioneering new product innovation.

Colbeck has been with MCS since 2004 and possesses approximately 15 years of information technology experience. He can be credited with the design and development of MCS360, the company's client-based Web portal created in response to the industry's need for software that allows for two-way communication as well as real-time delivery of work order results. Other company contributions include management of the software development team, network infrastructure, storage area network and multiple data centers.

"Part of MCS' competitive advantage is its commitment to ongoing innovation, obviously as a means to not only be more efficient, but to also extend more transparency, timeliness and cost savings to clients and vendors," Caroline Reaves, CEO of Mortgage Contracting Services, said. "Rob has been instrumental in all those efforts since his time here and we anxiously await the technological direction in which he will help drive MCS in this new role."

Prior to joining MCS, Colbeck was a consultant for Franklin Templeton Investments where he served as lead developer on its application development team, supporting business and systems analysis and design as well as database design and administration initiatives. He also worked in similar roles for GTE, Tech Data Corporation, DIMAC Direct Inc. and LeGrand Computer Services. Colbeck is a Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator. He served in the U.S. Navy for five years and received an Associate of Arts in management information systems from Pensacola College in Florida.
